Happy Valentine's Day and all that so post all anonymous proclamations of hate and loathing for me below, with that anonymous thing turned on as it is.
Music Zone have a rack of DVDs that is supposed to be the antidote to traditional Valentine's Day sentiments. They have on it, amongst other things - Speed, Saw, The Descent, Dog Soldiers, Howling VI: The Freaks and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. In other words, the antidote to Valentine's Day is lots of dismemberment and violence. Interesting.
What is the antidote to Easter then? Going on a diet and hiding bunches of celery around the back garden? The Easter ring-tailed lemur?

When I was working in a music/DVD store in New Zealand, the major DVD distribution company had a sort of "DVDs For Mum" deal going around the time of Mother's Day. This promotion included 2 Shannon Tweed films, because nothing says we love our mums like semi-pornographic thrillers!
